New Way to Exfoliate

This is my first time using "pads" to exfoliate my face. I gave it a try because a prior product (a physical microdermabrasion paste) was time consuming to rinse off my face. I have only been using these pads for a week, so it is too soon to tell how effective it is at improving my skin tone and removing hyperpigmentation. The first time I used these pads my skin felt burned. The second chance I gave them I got too close to one of my eyes and it caused a horrible inflammation and stye. I was happy to see The even and correct brightening pads offered. I thought it would be very convenient. However, the formula is very irritating to my skin. I feel it sits on top and does not absorb.
