This is my first time using this particular sunscreen, long time SkinMedica customer though. I typically use a tinted sunscreen but I wanted a higher SPF, so I opted for this one. After purchasing, I realized it was made for oily or acne skin, which is opposite of my complexion. I was nervous it would make my face dry or tight, but it was plenty moisturizing! So based on my experience, I really think any skin type could use this. It doesn’t leave a white cast and is super easy to apply, absorbs immediately. I actually like the texture of this one better than my usual tinted sunscreen and makeup doesn’t pill over it. It’s a winner for me!

Good Sunscreen/Smells Odd

I use a different SkinMedica sunscreen, but thought I would try this one because it is less expensive. This sunscreen is light, goes on smooth, and is readily absorbed. There is no residue and works well. The only problem I had was with the scent. It smells slightly odd, almost rancid, but the expiration date is 12/2021, so I assume it is not rancid and that is the scent. For that reason, I gave it three stars instead of five. I did not see that any other reviewer had an issue with this. Perhaps, the scent was only this particular bottle. I do not know, but rather than purchase it again, I will continue to use SkinMedica's total defense and repair sunscreen
